Creating systems change through authentic family engagement & parent leadership

Parent Leaders for Systems Change

Our diverse collective of parent leaders has been advocating for Michigan children for over 20 years, in all areas. Parent leaders play an essential role in education, outreach, policy change, and bettering our communities from the inside-out.

We have designed and co-created a national parent leadership program, and we provide consultation, workshops, discussion panels, and more to help you or your organization work towards systems change.

What barriers are preventing you from authentic family engagement?

Are you struggling to recruit and maintain good working relationships with your family representation groups?

Do you know who you should recruit?

Do you have a description of what you expect from staff interacting with parent leaders?

Do you have roles and duties that were co-designed by everyone at the table?

Do you have policies, protocols, and systems to provide timely stipends to parent leaders for their time and reimbursements?

Are you really ready to make the change your organization needs to include authentic parent voice?

To create successful, flowing team systems, we often need to look inward and first set the foundation for authentic engagement. Let us help remove some of these roadblocks to success with our personalized family engagement consultation and training.
