Grants & Scholarships

Miigwech as an organization started with an idea. What if we could help our most vulnerable community members with what they need most: funding? After the success of our first project, saving Lilly and Friends Daycare from shutdown, we knew that direct assistance was invaluable to keeping our residents afloat.

Now that Miigwech is an established nonprofit, we have organized our direct assistance into four categories: personal grants, small business grants, professional development scholarships, and student scholarships. We keep the application process as simple as possible, because our goal is not to police but to redistribute community wealth in an equitable and practical way.
